AX Downwind Mast

The F4 AX Downwind Masts bring world-cup carbon engineering into your downwind sessions. Built from 100 % UHM (Ultra High Modulus) carbon with proprietary prepreg layups, its stiffness-to-weight ratio is dialed for maximum responsiveness and efficiency.

Optimized length & stiffness - At 75, 80, 85 and 95 cm, these are the thinnest and narrowest masts in the F4 GP lineup, which means less drag and more precision in turn initiation. F4's Chris calls it “perhaps the stiffest mast on the market.”

Drag-minimized connections - A refined tab-and-flange system with just three M6 fasteners ensures a solid, corrosion-resistant connection to your fuselage — all while keeping aerodynamic and hydrodynamic drag in check.

Glide of champions. Control of a scalpel. Shorter masts inherently reduce drag and enhance agility — the 75 cm TE is F4’s most aggressive length, and riders already report sharper transitions, confident carves, and a “playful” feel. RC Mast

The F4 GP Plate RC Mast is the next evolution of our original GP TE mast—updated, refined, and relaunched under the RC (Rider Control) name to reflect the improvements riders have asked for over the past season. Built from the same construction used by our race team, the RC continues the TE’s legacy of stiffness, precision, and dependable feedback, now with updated tuning and a cleaner platform for a wider range of foiling styles.

Our tab-and-flange connection system remains at the heart of the design, providing a simple and secure interface using just three M6 screws for excellent stability and control. The mast-fuselage junction has been further optimized to reduce drag and deliver the direct, controlled feel riders expect from F4.

As we transition into the new RC graphics and labeling, some early units may still carry GP markings, though all are built to full RC/TE-spec construction.

AX Tuttle Mast
