The story of the DIABLO is first of all a man story. When F-One decided to start the foil kite program it was only because we were able to collaborate with a state of the art designer and factory from the paragliding industry, namely Mr Gin SEOK SONG.
GIN GLIDERS PARAGLIDING is a leading brand of high end and competition paragliders. The DIABLO was designed by Gin SEOK SONG and then tested and developed by two previous paragliding world champions: GIN test pilot Hans BOLLINGER and the F-ONE designer Robert GRAHAM. They used advanced design and manufacturing technologies that have been acquired through many years of paragliding. The experience of this collaboration has enabled us to quickly build a kite that has already placed F-ONE team riders on the podium of international competitions.
The collaboration between F-ONE and GIN GLIDERS was natural because both the companies and the founders GIN SEOK SONG and Raphael SALLES are driven by the same passion. Passion for their respective sport as well as for high end products and innovation.
The DIABLO was a success right from the first few races as Maxime NOCHER was present on the podium with impressive multiple 1st places.
The performances were of course there but the entire team was also focused on the other features that the kite must also have:
Quality: the choice of the fabrics, the construction, and the high quality controls are direct descendants from high end paraglider production. The need for control is greater for foil kites because the body and bridles are more complicated and demand high precision.
Stability and ease of use: our philosophy is not only to target high performance but also to have a kite that is easy to use for everyone.
Bar feeling: for some riders getting into foil kiting it is a new experience so we wanted to have a bar feeling as close as what they are used to having with inflatable kites.
Handling and turning: the way the kite turns and the bar pressures during the turn are key positive aspects of the DIABLO.
Look: because a high end product should also be beautiful the DIABLO has an incredibly majestic presence in the sky.
It’s quite difficult to quantify all of the design and construction features present in the DIABLO, but when flying this incredible wing you will feel the passion, energy and knowledge that the work of the R&D team have achieved.
Mr GIN, two world paragliding champions Hans BOLLINGER and Robert GRAHAM, racing world champion Maxime NOCHER, top foil riders Romain CASTEL and Joey PASQUALI and our experience: only such incredible competences could enable us to enter the top level of foil kites in such a short time.

Our design goal with the second version was to take the original Chrono’s high performance characteristics and make it easier to use for riders looking for all around ability in any conditions on any surface. The Chrono V2 is more stable and easier to inflate; additionally this model has thicker sheathed Dyneema bridle lines to reduce tangles on the ground. New sizes cover a wider range of conditions to personalize your high performance quiver.
The Chrono V2 is for experienced riders with good kite control skills or previous foil kite experience. It is not difficult to fly, but there are specific techniques required to ground handle and fly high aspect ratio foil kites safely.
Experienced riders will find themselves at home with the Chrono V2. On the water with a Twin-tip the Chrono V2 large sizes are light wind monsters - loads of power, easy to jump and stable. Due to the abundance of power and efficiency, gaining upwind ground is ridiculously easy. In light winds it is impressive how high and floaty jumps can be! When the wind picks up and you are looking for serious height the smaller sizes really shine, no question at all, these are pop and go big machines, just edge hard and send it, too easy!
Riding with a Foil or Race board the benefits are immediately noticeable thanks to the longer lifting period a foil kite gives you during that critical tacking moment compared to an LEI. The combined performance of the kite and these types of boards makes 4 knot riding a true reality.
On the snow the Chrono V2 takes the sport to another level, more power and performance in light winds, extended jump and flight time with a much better glide angle. The improved handling makes it possible to ride in lighter winds just by generating apparent speed, which means you can take a smaller size.
On the land the gains we have made in kite stability mean that you can work on your landboard freestyle moves without worrying about the kite collapsing or falling out of the sky. For buggy riders the improvements mean freestyle or racing maneuvers are easy and more intuitive with smoother coordinated handling.
The Chrono V2 is a closed-cell foil and is water re-launchable, but we recommend that you keep it flying and out of the water if possible! Using the re-launch webbing handle that connects the rear flying lines it is possible to reverse the kite off the water and continue riding. We recommend you practice this technique. An internal drainage channel running through to both wing tips allows any water that may have entered the kite to drain out. The Chrono V2 is not a wave kite and should not be used in waves.
The Chrono V2 will require maintenance just like any high performance equipment in racing sports, for example replacing tyres or piston rings on motorbikes. The Speed System and Bridle Lines must be checked after every 60 hours flying time, if they are worn or are not to factory specifications (+ or - 15mm) they must be replaced or the kite will not perform as designed.
Jimmy's best board for handling both surf and flat water. Most wave shapes don't track well on flat water because they're made to turn. But Jimmy found the perfect combination of parallel rails and surfing cues for an ultimate crossover board. Ample nose rocker, pin tail with gentle V-hull. Swept center fin and side bites for surf. Self Regulating Gore Vent. JL Signature I-Beam Construction.
The Zephyr allows me to ride when I should be mowing the grass, but I need my fix. Call me crazy, but I love to learn new unhooked tricks on the Zephyr in light winds. It pulls like a boat, remains stable when you miss a pass not looping you off down the beach. When you blow a trick and the kite ends up on the water, it still amazes me that it relaunches effortlessly even in sub 10 knot winds! If you dial a trick on a 17m you’re away laughing once the wind picks up and you’re throwing down on your 10m C4. Cruise around, run a muck… spray some paddle boarders, you know the saying… Historically big kites didn’t loop, the Zephyr has got this sorted without the need for troublesome pulleys. If you’re out there and the wind picks up, no worries, continue to load that rail and boost some air. Long live the stylish boned out snowboard grabs. Enjoy that extra loft and chuck in a vert-skating board off > Hugh Pinfold – Ozone Products Designer.
At Slingshot our philosophy has always been based on fun. Our goal is to design gear that will get you on the water in any riding condition. The 2015 Turbine creates a new definition for what is ride able by getting you up and going in wind speeds as low as 5-6 knots. We attribute the range and versatility of the 2015 Turbine to our proven Open Delta C platform and our 5-point cascading bridle attachment system. This critical combination creates a consistent smooth feel throughout the power stroke along with direct bar input. Proven improvements include an aspect ratio and reduced LE diameter that work together to create more grunt and power without sacrificing turning speed, efficiency or upwind performance.
The Turbine has our proven mini strut technology that makes it a full structured five-strut kite. It achieves the same benefits in the air with no hassles on the beach.
Customer satisfaction and feedback from our larger Turbine riders has been so positive we added a new 15 meter! The smaller Turbine is designed for light to medium weight riders or riders that are very efficient. The Turbine 15 combined with our new foil board is a deadly combination in the lightest of wind.
PACKAGE INCLUDES: Turbine Kite, Kite Backpack, Bladder Repair Kit, Quick-Start Guide, Pump Hose with One Pump Speed Valve Adapter.

Stretch says: With the high speeds these boards are meant to perform under, flex becomes uncontrollable and sketchy. We build our boards with 3 layers of structural foam and a carbon fiber internal frame. This makes the board very strong with torsion and flexural values being very little to none. We vacuum press the cores together and then hand shape the rails, bottom contours and fine details. Outer skins are then vacuum bag laminated onto the board before it gets sanded and then painted. The construction we developed for these boards allows us to build them 1 ¼” thick, thinner than any other tow-board. This lowers the center of gravity while affording the rider to smoothly penetrate the water. Our rocker for the tow-in board was highly influenced by our windsurfers, where both types of boards show urgency in utilizing and maintaining high speeds. The core in these boards is always pressed before it is hand shaped so that we consistently achieve an extremely accurate rocker. The full tail on these boards allows the rider to surf with the rear foot closer to the tail. By utilizing an efficient surface area in the rear of the board, one can surf faster without the lack of stability and still turn like a shorter board. All of our tow boards come complete with the external weighting system for the varying conditions found in huge surf. By building the boards as light as possible and then incorporating modular lead weights to the center of effort (between the rider’s feet), the board is allowed to react much quicker to dynamics in the wave face. This gives the rider a smoother ride and the feel that a light board would have while riding in much more powerful conditions. Tow boards come fully equipped with pads, straps, weight, custom art and hand foiled G-10 fiberglass fins by Curtis Hesselgrave.
Pre Preg Carbon Fiber built in an autoclave providing strength and light weight.
The advanced short boarder's SUP with thinner rails for aggressive turns. Carve your signature on the wave. Incredibly stable despite its size and shape. Pulled nose and round pin tail. Slightly more rocker than the Kwad. Self regulating Gore vent. Comes with thruster fins, although five fin boxes allow for optional quad fins. JL Signature I-Beam Construction.
The Bullet ranges from 11 to 17. From a lightweight all around board to the fastest open water board on the planet the Bullet series has the perfect size for you.
The Bullet 11 is truly a one of a kind board in the 11 foot range. Derived from its larger Bullet series counterparts, this board is the ideal companion for the lightweight paddlers who are looking for an all-round board. Due to its lightweight and EZ-Grab handle it is easy to load on and off the car for transport. The main focus lies on recreational fitness paddling. Regardless of your intended use: flat-water fitness, open ocean gliding or small wave surfing, there is no better board in the world that covers all these disciplines as well as the Bullet 11.
The Bullet 12 has taken on its own identity in the world of SUP. A scaled down version of the Bullet 14, this board is the mountain bike of the water. Whether looking for a board that glides with ease around the harbor or your want to catch some bumps in the open ocean or lake, the Bullet 12 is for you. The Bullet 12 can often be seen in local surf lineups on smaller days, as this board can do it all. This makes it perhaps, the most well rounded board in the world. If you don’t want to have multiple boards in your quiver then you want the Bullet 12.
The Bullet 14 is one of the most winning downwind boards in the world. This master of open water has also proven to be one of the most versatile fitness and touring boards in the world. With slightly more rocker and volume than the Bullet 14V2, this board is more stable and forgiving than its flatter rockered counter part, the V2. The additional rocker allows the board to fit nicely into the wave troughs and maneuver with ease on the face. It is less likely to pearl its nose in the gangliest of conditions and makes beach landings in pounding shore break negotiable. The full volume rails and rail tuck give the board more stability and glide with ease over slop and side chop.
The Bullet 14V2 is the ultimate downwind racing machine. This board is offered with and without the SIC A.S.S. (Active Steering System). The outline’s widest point has been shifted slightly forward and the rocker flattened, which provides the rider with better stability when powering up in lower wind ranges and smaller chop. You would think that straighter rocker would cause the board to pearl easily, however, the narrowed tail brings the nose up, mitigating purling and unlocking top end speed by reducing wetted surface area. The board has slightly lower volume than the Bullet 14 TWC, but maintains its iconic full volume rails and gradual tuck to promote stability, which incidentally also reduces paddler fatigue over long races or touring distances.
The Bullet 17 is the fastest open water on the planet bar none. It is THE must have board for any open-water elite racer who wants to strike the podium or takes their gliding seriously. This downwind missile has a narrower outline and more gradual rocker, which keeps you in the energy zone of the swell, maintains the highest average speed, and can maneuver quickly to catch bumps from any direction. Its Panel-V tail design keeps the nose elevated in the troughs and in the chop. Only available with SIC’s original A.S.S. (Active Steering System).
This surf hybrid (aluminium-carbon) foil is made to lift off as early as possible on a wave, an outside reef or soft wave. Its maneuverability and controlled accelerations provide good steering to remain in the right section of the wave when surfing.
The Foil is made of:
Accessible and really progressive, the F-ONE FOIL is the new weapon of choice to not only ride, but truly fly over the water. Foiling is more than a new discipline; it’s a whole new world. The F-ONE foil has been developed with the most experienced foil riders and every element of the foil has been designed to deliver the best imaginable experience out on the water whether you about to start or if you already master the magic of foiling. With innovation deeply rooted into its DNA, the F-ONE team has worked tirelessly to design, engineer, test and optimize this new piece of equipment. The shapes and profiles have been carefully selected and optimized by F-ONE’s in-house naval architect and the foil assembly concept was completely thought back towards ease of use.
This wide frame will give the wariest of paddler’s full confidence in any condition. The pulled in displacement style nose and a fuller, harder tucked rail is designed to deliver excellent touring performance and all around user friendliness. The Crossbreed also cuts through the chop, makes turns easily and handles knee to waist high surf due to the V spine bottom shape. The Crossbreed is the ultimate crossover of an all-around and performance touring board. Based on Slingshot’s Future Response Technology the Crossbreed is built with Wood Veneer Sandwich Construction (WVS). This proprietary construction controls the durability and flex of the board and the result is a proven lightweight, impact resistant board.
From small to overhead waves these boards are made to drive down the line and have a snappy feel in the turn. The swallow tail design reduces the surface area providing a great deal of control into and out of turns. The board is flat under foot then progresses to an aggressive V spine. The flatness under foot allows the board to track straight but the V spine allows you to carve when you want to. The stability allows you to ride everything from a point break to a blown out beach break. This board is stable and responsive. Based on Slingshot’s Future Response Technology the Rant is built with Wood Veneer Sandwich Construction (WVS). This proprietary construction controls the durability and flex of the board and the result is a proven lightweight, impact resistant board.
First on, last off. Designed around a grin-inducing three strut frame, the Flite is a brand new super-light kite that will turn those faint blue arrows on the forecast into a brilliant orange. 30% lighter than its forebear with an agility and lightness of touch unequalled in its class, we’re confident that the Flite is the world’s best light wind kite.
The compact design provides solid stability, easy wave entry, and enjoyable flat water paddling between sets. The board is flat under foot then progresses to an aggressive V spine. The flatness under foot allows the board to track straight but the V spine allows you to carve rail to rail when you want to. Based on Slingshot’s Future Response Technology the G-Whiz is built with Wood Veneer Sandwich Construction (WVS). This proprietary construction controls the durability and flex of the board and the result is a proven lightweight, impact resistant board.
The latest generation of C4 brings a fresh new look along with refinements to each size. We have had amazing feedback from riders all around the world, so what we wanted to offer was a similar kite yet refined for improved freestyle & wakestyle performance. We have fine tuned each size individually offering riders similar performance and feel they have come to know of the past C4 generations. The aspect ratio has been modified throughout the sizes to give the kites a better low end and more solid power during pop and release. We have brought the feel of the entire size range closer together, slightly slowing down the smaller sizes and speeding up the larger sizes for better freestyle riding. The new C4 continues with our Variable Bridle Geometry system, offering two “feel” settings. The system is simple, takes about 20 seconds to change and doesn’t involve adding or taking away any lines. The rider shifts the middle bridle lines up or down on pigtails to change the feel of the kite > Torrin Bright – Ozone Global Team & Test Rider.
The Edge has easily has proven its pedigree over the past three seasons, it is the kite to own if you are searching for ultimate performance. Robbie has worked his magic to design what is the undisputed Champion when it comes to performance for Kite Course Racing. But the real magic for me is the fact the Edge is a joy to ride for any solid kiter that is looking for the ultimate boosting machine. If ripping upwind higher than you ever thought possible and reaching near orbit on your boosts is what you want then look no further > Matt Taggart: Ozone Kites Manager.
The Fuel has set the standard for C kite design for the last 13 years. The 2015 Fuel now includes a radically new bridling concept. The Fuel is the first C kite to employ our new Nitrous 4 point pulleyless bridle system. This system allows you to run your Fuel two different ways. First, is in Nitrous mode with the bridle installed. Second, is in direct connect mode with the bridle removed. The first thing dedicated hard core riders will notice about the 2015 Fuel is the bridle comes installed, as engineered by our designer Tony Logosz. According to Tony, “The Fuel in Nitrous mode will deliver explosive pop, massive travel, and for the first time, you get incredible range. Nothing is sacrificed with looping speed or turnability. Basically it makes the Fuel fly like an RPM on Steroids.
10 years of development with a high level of requirements!

Slingshot is thrilled to introduce a radical new kite to its 2016 lineup – the Wave SST. With a design that will redefine the meaning of a true surf-specific kite, the Wave SST (Slingshot Surf Technology) features a Compact-C canopy and compact direct-connect bridal that looks like a cross between an RPM and a Rally, but performs unlike any kite on the market.
Built with significant and unrivaled upgrades to Slingshot’s already bombproof construction, the Wave SST (offered in 6, 8, 10 and 12 meter sizes) is sturdy enough to take a pounding in the surf, but light enough to track magically downwind, downloop on a dime and whip across the window at the flick of a wrist. For kiters serious about taking their wave skills to the next level, the Wave SST is the kite to take them there. The Wave SST is equipped with a modified version of Slingshot’s revolutionary new shock-absorbing IRS bridal (featured on the 2015 RPM), which provides instant feedback and response, unrivaled stability and is condensed enough that it can’t get wrapped around wingtips if rolled in the surf. With a shape that favors serious downwind drift, unbelievable turning speed even when fully sheeted-out and a feather-light feel when shredding down the line, slashing faces and bottom-turning, the Wave SST has set a new standard for what a wave kite can do for its riders.
Slingshot coined the term “Surf Tough” nearly 15 years ago with its unique seam technology, and its designers have taken that concept to another level with the Wave SST. The kite is constructed with an extra heavy duty Rip Stop Surf Grid canopy material and has extra panels reinforced in a gridded quilt pattern to provide increased strength in the event of a water landing. These upgrades compliment Slingshot’s already rock-solid construction that makes our kites the most resilient on the market.
Although built specifically for surf, the Wave SST is also an outstanding kite for easy-going strapless riders and the rapidly-growing faction of foil boarders due to its incredible depower, feather-light feel and unrivaled turning characteristics. For customized performance, the kite features three trailing edge attachment points which result in more or less bar pressure and sensitivity depending on which point is chosen. All of Slingshot’s 2016 kites come with our new One Pump Speed System, which increases inflation efficiency to get you out on the water faster and with less energy than before.
The Obsession is an exciting performance driven machine. This kite exceles at the freestyle dicipline but is user friendly and easy enought for the novice to use. It's a kite that will grow with you as you become a more compitent kiter. The Obsession is by far our number #1 seller because of its versatility and solid performance. It is known for its low end power, making it a perfect kite for lighter areas. It's relaunch is fantastic keeping it off the water and in the sky. This leads to more progressive sessions and may keep out of a sticky situation. If you are getting into kiteboarding to get some air, look no further then the 2015 RRD Obsession. This thing jumps huge! Not only does it boost big, but it has an awesome amount of hangtime. There is nothing quite as exhilarating as soaring above the water.
This board is available NOW for immediate delivery. Jimmy created a series of inflatable SUPs only after he could make one that would perform like a real board. Double wall construction and 25 PSI inflation make this a rigid surf shape-- not a floppy pool toy. 10'3 x 33" means stability and float for any size without un-needed length and swing-weight. Includes backpack, 3 piece breakapart paddle, bungee tie down, long-board fin box with thumb-screw fin attachment (no tools necessary), carry handle, pump, and repair kit.
The purebred geometry promotes a potent forward-flying experience across a massive wind range allowing riders to commit to more critical moves more of the time. Unhooked, the Razor continues its forward attack giving Blitzkrieg pop and big travel for air passes. Back in the loop, insane vertical boosts are there for those that like to ‘send it’. Powered up wave riders will revel in deeper cutbacks, bigger lip smacks and more radical turns. Compatible with any current Ocean Rodeo bar, the Razor features our Direct Depower system for security in all situations.
Touted as the most versatile and user-friendly kite in Slingshot’s lineup, the Rally has continued its dramatic rise to the top since introduced to the market in 2011. Available in sizes 5-12 and 14 so kiters can build their perfect quiver, the 2016 Rally incorporates an open Delta-C profile, a direct-connect pulley-less bridal system, beefed-up surf-tough seams, fine-tuning attachment points and a number of other unique feathers to make this the ultimate all-around weapon of choice for kiters across the spectrum. Never before has one kite appealed to so many different styles of riding.
Updates to the 2016 Rally include relocated attachment points and a slight change in geometry, which increase handling and steering speed, reduce bar pressure and bring back a feel similar to the popular 2012 version. These updates compliment the Rally’s unrivaled wind range, low-end power, hang time, upwind performance and, bombproof construction that has kept Slingshot at the leading edge of the industry for the last 15 years.
Slingshot’s 2016 kites come with our new One Pump Speed System*, which increases inflation efficiency to get you out on the water faster and with less energy than before.
THE REO IS AN ICONIC MODEL IN THE KITE SURF WORLD – IT’S RENOWNED FOR DELIVERING OUTSTANDING SURF PERFORMANCE DUE TO BEING SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR UNCOMPROMISED WAVE RIDING. NOW IN ITS FOURTH VERSION, THE REO V4 CONTINUES TO SET THE BENCHMARK IN PERFORMANCE, FEELING AND FREEDOM ON THE WAVE.
Legendary just got better with the new 2015 RPM.
Employing an upgrade to the bombproof, tried-and-true construction that has made Slingshot an industry-leader and the trusted brand for kiteboarders around the world, the legendary RPM takes innovation to the next level with its new IRS bridal.
The Intuitive Response System replaces the RPM’s pulley bridal with a revolutionary new shock-absorbing system that gives riders a more direct connection to their kite and the free-flowing energy of the wind. With the elimination of moving pulleys from the bridal, riders will notice an immediate boost in response, steering speed, sheeting, load-and-pop and connection to the kite, while the addition of the new shock-absorbing suspension bridal automatically distributes line tension to give the kite improved stability and smoother, more reactive performance in all wind conditions.
In addition to the groundbreaking new IRS bridle, the 2015 RPM features upgrades to its already bombproof construction, including a tougher, more durable diamond leech trailing edge and a new DP 175 Dacron leading edge and strut material. These upgrades complement Slingshot’s proprietary tri-tech protection, making this one of the toughest, most durable kites on the market. Also added to the 2015 RPM is the new One Pump Speed System, which increases inflation efficiency to get you out on the water faster and with less energy than before.
Since its inception five years ago by Slingshot’s renowned design team headed by Tony Logosz, the RPM has exploded on the global stage as one of the most rock-solid and versatile kites ever created. With this year’s changes and upgrades, we’re confident our flagship kite will go above and beyond its already unrivaled reputation, taking you to new heights in the process.
PACKAGE INCLUDES: RPM Kite, Kite Backpack, Bladder Repair Kit, Quick-Start Guide, IRS Bungee Replacement, Pump Hose with One Pump Speed Valve Adapter.
