The story of the DIABLO is first of all a man story. When F-One decided to start the foil kite program it was only because we were able to collaborate with a state of the art designer and factory from the paragliding industry, namely Mr Gin SEOK SONG.
GIN GLIDERS PARAGLIDING is a leading brand of high end and competition paragliders. The DIABLO was designed by Gin SEOK SONG and then tested and developed by two previous paragliding world champions: GIN test pilot Hans BOLLINGER and the F-ONE designer Robert GRAHAM. They used advanced design and manufacturing technologies that have been acquired through many years of paragliding. The experience of this collaboration has enabled us to quickly build a kite that has already placed F-ONE team riders on the podium of international competitions.
The collaboration between F-ONE and GIN GLIDERS was natural because both the companies and the founders GIN SEOK SONG and Raphael SALLES are driven by the same passion. Passion for their respective sport as well as for high end products and innovation.
The DIABLO was a success right from the first few races as Maxime NOCHER was present on the podium with impressive multiple 1st places.

Our design goal with the second version was to take the original Chrono’s high performance characteristics and make it easier to use for riders looking for all around ability in any conditions on any surface. The Chrono V2 is more stable and easier to inflate; additionally this model has thicker sheathed Dyneema bridle lines to reduce tangles on the ground. New sizes cover a wider range of conditions to personalize your high performance quiver.
The Chrono V2 is for experienced riders with good kite control skills or previous foil kite experience. It is not difficult to fly, but there are specific techniques required to ground handle and fly high aspect ratio foil kites safely.
Experienced riders will find themselves at home with the Chrono V2. On the water with a Twin-tip the Chrono V2 large sizes are light wind monsters - loads of power, easy to jump and stable. Due to the abundance of power and efficiency, gaining upwind ground is ridiculously easy. In light winds it is impressive how high and floaty jumps can be! When the wind picks up and you are looking for serious height the smaller sizes really shine, no question at all, these are pop and go big machines, just edge hard and send it, too easy!
Riding with a Foil or Race board the benefits are immediately noticeable thanks to the longer lifting period a foil kite gives you during that critical tacking moment compared to an LEI. The combined performance of the kite and these types of boards makes 4 knot riding a true reality.
On the snow the Chrono V2 takes the sport to another level, more power and performance in light winds, extended jump and flight time with a much better glide angle. The improved handling makes it possible to ride in lighter winds just by generating apparent speed, which means you can take a smaller size.
On the land the gains we have made in kite stability mean that you can work on your landboard freestyle moves without worrying about the kite collapsing or falling out of the sky. For buggy riders the improvements mean freestyle or racing maneuvers are easy and more intuitive with smoother coordinated handling.
The Chrono V2 is a closed-cell foil and is water re-launchable, but we recommend that you keep it flying and out of the water if possible! Using the re-launch webbing handle that connects the rear flying lines it is possible to reverse the kite off the water and continue riding. We recommend you practice this technique. An internal drainage channel running through to both wing tips allows any water that may have entered the kite to drain out. The Chrono V2 is not a wave kite and should not be used in waves.
The Chrono V2 will require maintenance just like any high performance equipment in racing sports, for example replacing tyres or piston rings on motorbikes. The Speed System and Bridle Lines must be checked after every 60 hours flying time, if they are worn or are not to factory specifications (+ or - 15mm) they must be replaced or the kite will not perform as designed.
Jimmy's best board for handling both surf and flat water. Most wave shapes don't track well on flat water because they're made to turn. The Zephyr allows me to ride when I should be mowing the grass, but I need my fix. Call me crazy, but I love to learn new unhooked tricks on the Zephyr in light winds. It pulls like a boat, remains stable when you miss a pass not looping you off down the beach. When you blow a trick and the kite ends up on the water, it still amazes me that it relaunches effortlessly even in sub 10 knot winds! If you dial a trick on a 17m you’re away laughing once the wind picks up and you’re throwing down on your 10m C4. Cruise around, run a muck… spray some paddle boarders, you know the saying… Historically big kites didn’t loop, the Zephyr has got this sorted without the need for troublesome pulleys. Stretch says: With the high speeds these boards are meant to perform under, flex becomes uncontrollable and sketchy. We build our boards with 3 layers of structural foam and a carbon fiber internal frame. This makes the board very strong with torsion and flexural values being very little to none. We vacuum press the cores together and then hand shape the rails, bottom contours and fine details. Outer skins are then vacuum bag laminated onto the board before it gets sanded and then painted. The construction we developed for these boards allows us to build them 1 ¼” thick, thinner than any other tow-board. This lowers the center of gravity while affording the rider to smoothly penetrate the water. Our rocker for the tow-in board was highly influenced by our windsurfers, where both types of boards show urgency in utilizing and maintaining high speeds. The core in these boards is always pressed before it is hand shaped so that we consistently achieve an extremely accurate rocker. The full tail on these boards allows the rider to surf with the rear foot closer to the tail. By utilizing an efficient surface area in the rear of the board, one can surf faster without the lack of stability and still turn like a shorter board. All of our tow boards come complete with the external weighting system for the varying conditions found in huge surf. By building the boards as light as possible and then incorporating modular lead weights to the center of effort (between the rider’s feet), the board is allowed to react much quicker to dynamics in the wave face. This gives the rider a smoother ride and the feel that a light board would have while riding in much more powerful conditions. The Bullet 14 is one of the most winning downwind boards in the world. This master of open water has also proven to be one of the most versatile fitness and touring boards in the world. With slightly more rocker and volume than the Bullet 14V2, this board is more stable and forgiving than its flatter rockered counter part, the V2. The additional rocker allows the board to fit nicely into the wave troughs and maneuver with ease on the face. It is less likely to pearl its nose in the gangliest of conditions and makes beach landings in pounding shore break negotiable. The full volume rails and rail tuck give the board more stability and glide with ease over slop and side chop.
The Bullet 14V2 is the ultimate downwind racing machine. This board is offered with and without the SIC A.S.S. (Active Steering System). The outline’s widest point has been shifted slightly forward and the rocker flattened, which provides the rider with better stability when powering up in lower wind ranges and smaller chop. You would think that straighter rocker would cause the board to pearl easily, however, the narrowed tail brings the nose up, mitigating purling and unlocking top end speed by reducing wetted surface area. The board has slightly lower volume than the Bullet 14 TWC, but maintains its iconic full volume rails and gradual tuck to promote stability, which incidentally also reduces paddler fatigue over long races or touring distances.
The Bullet 17 is the fastest open water on the planet bar none. It is THE must have board for any open-water elite racer who wants to strike the podium or takes their gliding seriously. The latest generation of C4 brings a fresh new look along with refinements to each size. We have had amazing feedback from riders all around the world, so what we wanted to offer was a similar kite yet refined for improved freestyle & wakestyle performance. The aspect ratio has been modified throughout the sizes to give the kites a better low end and more solid power during pop and release. Employing an upgrade to the bombproof, tried-and-true construction that has made Slingshot an industry-leader and the trusted brand for kiteboarders around the world, the legendary RPM takes innovation to the next level with its new IRS bridal.
The Intuitive Response System replaces the RPM’s pulley bridal with a revolutionary new shock-absorbing system that gives riders a more direct connection to their kite and the free-flowing energy of the wind. With the elimination of moving pulleys from the bridal, riders will notice an immediate boost in response, steering speed, sheeting, load-and-pop and connection to the kite, while the addition of the new shock-absorbing suspension bridal automatically distributes line tension to give the kite improved stability and smoother, more reactive performance in all wind conditions.
In addition to the groundbreaking new IRS bridle, the 2015 RPM features upgrades to its already bombproof construction, including a tougher, more durable diamond leech trailing edge and a new DP 175 Dacron leading edge and strut material. These upgrades complement Slingshot’s proprietary tri-tech protection, making this one of the toughest, most durable kites on the market. Also added to the 2015 RPM is the new One Pump Speed System, which increases inflation efficiency to get you out on the water faster and with less energy than before.

These boards started the wave riding movement and are among the best kite surfboards available. There are several tail designs available. The Wing shape is in the evolutionary chain of design that works well in small to medium sized surf. The Pin is designed for the surfer who wants to push their skills into larger and faster surf. The Squash is the most current design that works well in small to large waves. All boards are designed to your size and ability and come set up with choice of color, custom glass, Future Fins, pads, and straps.
The 2015 Celeritas continues to deliver controlled progressive performance year after year. The combination of its short trunk style, aggressive concave, curvy outline and simple thumb tail makes the Celeritas one of the most versatile shapes in the industry. The Celeritas also features a fast rocker line that blends from the center to the tail giving this board off the chart speed. The fast rocker line maintainins perfect control while the balanced surface area allows the board to have extra lift and control in between turns. This year’s Celeritas also features a tri-fin FCS II setup and Fluid X Dampening System which reduces vibration and improves feel.
