The summer Wing Foiling season in New Zealand was incredible on both the West and East coasts. Wind, epic swells and empty waves for carving up and connecting, has seen Armie riding, testing and pushing himself in the search to improve the A-Wing.
The A-Wing V2’s stiff airframe reduces sail deformation when highly powered, jumping or pumping the wing for power in light winds. The thick leading edge is not only for structural stability it also defines the nose radius of the aerofoil section which is responsible for generating the power of the wing in flight!
The solid airframe of the A-Wing is the second ingredient to power and performance.
Balanced…Across a wide range of conditions, the A-Wing V2 is well balanced. The load distribution between the front and rear hand, make it comfortable and less physically fatiguing for long sessions. When riding waves or swells the V2 floats effortlessly on the font handle and feels more manoeuvrable when tacking, gibing or tricking around!

During the testing of the A-Wing, Armie developed the Powerlink Control Bar with the goal of increasing the handling and range of the A-Wing.
Linking the middle handles allows for easy hand transfers, enhanced wing control during transitions and for wave riding.
It improves light wind power, with both hands on the bar it sets the wing higher and further from body turbulence, which improves low-end grunt.
It also adds to upper-end wind range by allowing your rear hand to move forward for the optimal control position in powered conditions.
Although the Power Control Bar has been developed primarily for the A-Wing, as an added bonus it can also easily be fitted to many other brands wings.

State of the art rear wing configuration incorporates easy to change, honeycomb Titanium Trim Fairings that allow you to fine tune the UNI Tail Wing to your personal feeling.
The Titanium trim fairings set the angle of attack of the tail wing. We use -2 degree, Zero degree and +1 degree trim options. These adjustments work in conjunction with changing the front wings, fueslarge length and required use
Whether you are towing into big waves or starting out, you'll want one of these. Designed strong and light, with a high density foam flotation core, which has less tendency to be accidentally sucked into a jet-ski propulsion unit and reduces snatch when your driver is a bit too keen on the gas!
New for 2020 is the full carbon, low profile FoilMount 3.0 Carbon.
This compressed carbon plate is not only beautiful it is also incredibly strong allowing it to be thinner than the original FoilMount. This setup weighs just over 1lb so it is also about 30% lighter than previous models. The new curved shape along with it's light weight and thinner profile make it incredibly low drag in the water. You cannot tell there is a track mounted on the bottom of your board while using it without a hydrofoil. We have also upgraded the included hardware. Because this system is so thin we had to invent a new hardware set that would work with any base plate on the market call the Wizardhat Hardware. Each FoilMount 3.0 Carbon includes a set of 4 Wizardhat hardware and they will allow you to attach any hydrofoil on the market to your FoilMount.

Recommended race 18 tail wing option, adding to the speed and free flow riding style. For a softer, less locked-in ride choose the down-sweep tail “the Carve 16” which also makes pumping easier. The rudder tail "Flareseries” 12 or 14 is the recommended tail wing for beginners or kiters.
The Vortex 150 is an ultra hi-performance foil. It is a smaller and more maneuverable foil than its bigger brother the 175. The reason being the aspect ratio on the 150 is higher, the chord shorter and lower drag from less surface area. Designed for a balance of speed, turning, and lift, without breaching.
Ultra hi-performance and fun, the Vortex 150 has great stability and a locked-in feel due to the double bottom concave on the wing. The 150 wing is preferred by our team riders and the pro guys who like to carve and ride the wave with hi-performance in mind. The 175 is preferred for larger rider or intermediates wanting to learn how to carve and pump needing more surface area.
Because the Vortex 150 is smaller and has less surface area than the 175 model, it is designed to be ridden by smaller riders, or in bigger surf. With the added speed you need less wing and less thickness in the leading edge keeps you locked in and means less chance of your foil breaching.
The Vortex 150 is perfect for tow foiling and bigger surf for heavier riders up to 100kgs. With the added speed and less thickness in the leading edge, it keeps you locked in and means less chance of your foil breaching at high speeds. The Vortex 175 is perfect for small to medium prone-foil days.
